Texas Faith and Disability Network is not seeking to develop a new religious community, take away from current initiatives within faith networks or congregations, nor encourage people to change their faith traditions.

Membership is open to anyone interested in our mission, including people with disabilities, clergy, family members, advocacy organizations, service providers, and others. Currently, our network meets monthly via Zoom to organize, network, share information, and work on developing more effective ways of communication and recruitment of members to further our mission.

The development of Texas Faith and Disability Network (TxFDN) started in 2015 by dedicated volunteers with expertise and experience in faith networks and disability fields in Texas. Our focus is to connect statewide initiatives in promoting inclusive faith support created through four grant projects funded by the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities.
